Whoops 😅 … after trying the viral air fryer s’mores last year, I fear this is still the healthiest thing I’ve cooked in my air fryer 😂 . I put mine on for 5 minutes on 200C. Time may vary depending on the size of your marshmallows so keep an eye on them as you don’t want to over cook the chocolate either. It’s spider season! 😩 👀🕷️So like/save these tricks for later to keep spiders (and other insects) out of our homes! 🕷️They enter your home for warmth at this time of year so these are tips to help persuade them to go elsewhere - they’re not only easy to do but they also make my home smell amazing! 1. Add 5-10 drops of peppermint or tea tree oil to 240ml or 1 cup of water in a spray bottle and spray around your windows and doors to repel the spiders - they dislike the smell of both of these oils! Remember to like this post if you learnt anything, save it to refer back to and share/send if you think others will appreciate it too ❤️ 2. Place cinnamon sticks around your home - spiders also dislike the smell of cinnamon so I was quick to pop one on my bedside table! You can also do this with conkers but I chose not to do this one as it would be dangerous for my toddler! 3. Add the recommended dose of orange oil to the water for your particular mop with a squirt of dishwashing liquid. I use a Vileda spray mop so I added 15-20 drops - again spider AND insects dislike this scent but for us it’s not too over powering like peppermint and tea tree so it’s perfect for larger surfaces like your floors! 🍊 . Tell me I’m wrong but there’s no better feeling than jumping into a fresh bed! 😍 Here are 3 ways to deep clean your bed leaving it super fresh - you might want to save this to refer back to! ✨ More hacks like this can be found in my book which is linked in my bio ☺️⬆️ 1. Steam your headboard to disinfect and freshen. I added ironing water to mine to give it a little fragrance but this is optional. 2. Deodorise your mattress by sprinkling over bicarbonate of soda and a few drops of lavender essential oil (again this is optional). Leave for 30 minutes and then vacuum up. Disclaimer* make sure your vacuum is a HEPA filtered vacuum as otherwise the bicarbonate of soda may damage your vacuum if it’s not made to pick up smaller particles. As promised🫶🏼Before you throw out those white clothes with yellow stains, try this first. I genuinely used to think my whites were ruined after holidays until I tried this method, and it’s now my go to for refreshing yellowed whites 🙌🏼 • Soak in a citric acid solution for 30 to 60 minutes (1 to 2 tbsp citric acid per litre of warm water) • Wash with your normal detergent and a scoop of Napisan • Replace fabric softener with 1 cup of white vinegar It’s a simple way to help brighten whites and lift yellowing caused by sunscreen, sweat, deodorant residue, and mineral buildup. As always, check garment care labels first and avoid using on delicate fabrics such as silk, wool, leather, or suede.
