Im finally getting back in the gym… Recently i’ve learned how important it is to stay present in the moment. I find myself looking months into the future thinking “i can’t wait to get even bigger then i was before”. But that’s not where my eyes should be. They should be focused on the now. Focused on my mobility work. Focused on the very light training i’m allowed to do. Focused on my diet supplementation and meal plan. And number one most importantly focused on God. The rest will play out how it’s meant to. So for anyone struggling with depression of looking into the past on how good things used to be, or struggling with anxiety about what the future holds. The most important thing you can do is take a breathe and realize that everything will be okay when you keep your eyes on Jesus and stay present not even in the current day but the current second. It’s something i’ve really been working on because one of my biggest challenges is mentally living in the past or the future. Im 2.5 weeks into my 3-5 month recovery plan and am slowly getting back into training. One step at a time, one second at a time. I will be back… Love you guys. - - - CODE JULES @youngla @axeandsledge @vandl.labs
